Elective abdominal aortic aneurysm repair

Mr. Jan Novák (66 years old) is scheduled for another routine check by a vascular surgeon because of an infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). Subjectively patient feels dyspnoic when walking two flights of stairs; however, an ultrasound examination reveals the progression of the aneurysm. Additional CT scan shows a diameter of AAA 5.1 cm. A year ago, it was 4 cm. What steps should be taken now?
