The patient with the spinal cord injury will not receive a specialized care at a general surgical department. The patient needs an immediate surgery, and therefore we choose a department where a spine surgeon is on call.
GCS = 15, pupils equal, reactive to the light, nose and ears without secretion, chest: symmetrical, alveolar breathing without abnormal breath sounds, abdomen: soft, no pathological resistance. The limbs are plegic and non-sensitive, no signs of fractures, external bleeding not present.
