Not every gravidity would end up with labor at term. During pregnancy there could be many complications, either with mother or child, that result in premature birth. One of these complications can be hypoxia of baby. In that case premature birth ends with delivering hypoxic baby with very low Apgar score. In Algorithm „Newborn resuscitation“ you can try what to do in such a situation.

Algorithm in several steps relatively accurately describes the principles of newborn resuscitation. Clarity, conciseness and simplicity ensures that the algorithm will go easily into
routine use. Especially in these tense situations everything depends on easy memorability of important principles of the newborn resuscitation. Generally, the frequency of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions directly influences the appropriate action. In the case of neonatal resuscitation, this algorithm will certainly contribute to quality of life-saving arrangements especially adequate security of newborns before transportation to the specialized center. I also appreciate the didactic sophistication of algorithm, such as visualization, which is a significant advantage.
