Mushroom Poisoning
Your partner George (30 years old) has spent the weekend at home while you were working away. Back home you find a dinner prepared on the table. However, you are more concerned about your partner's condition. He is complaining of nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. He also describes frequent leg cramps. How do you react?
George was given Penicilin V (phenoxymethyl penicillin) from GP last week to cure tonsillitis. You suspect his condition might be due to side effects of antibiotics. You suggest going to see GP again tomorrow.
In partner's plate you find a rest of the mushrooms. You remember that George's posted pictures of mushrooms on his instagram profile. Not sure those are edible types but since you are not an expert, therefore you take your partner to the Emergency Room.
You suppose he went out with friends at the party. You feel tired after a long busy weekend at work and upset your partner didn't call you at all. You are desperate and you do not know what to do. So you call your mother seeking help.
