The presented BLS algorithm captures the algorithm for recognizing cardiac arrest and initiating cardiopulmonary resuscitation in a child from an unknown cause. The algorithm presented is based on the 2021 ERC recommendations for CPR in children. What I find very useful about this algorithm is that it focuses on key decision points in addition to the procedure itself. A lot of useful information is also included in the rationale for each answer.
