Anesthesiology for thoracic surgery

Patient (male, 55 yrs) is admitted to undergo elective lung lobectomy due to diagnosed adenocarcinoma located in the right lower lobe. No comorbidities are present. He is examined by an anesthesiologist before the surgery, who indicates therapeutical and diagnostical procedures in order to minimize peroperative and postoperative complications and to decide the type of intubation and anesthesia.
