Call received at the dispatch centre
It is Monday morning, 6:20 AM. You are an operator at the Regional Medical Operations Center and you receive an urgent call from a middle-aged woman (see multimedia). You instruct the caller to clear the patient’s airway, and then together you initiate telephone-assisted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (T-CPR). You dispatch an emergency response unit and activate the available first-responder system (Fire Rescue Service, Police of the Czech Republic). Part of the algorithm also includes considering eCPR (Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). What will be your next step?
