In the algorithms Snake envenomation – Vipera berus, black mamba - the development of intoxication is described, including the stabilization and basics of treatment of those afflicted. The procedures for selected cases correspond to the currently valid recommendations and used organizational and treatment rules in the Czech Republic. The basic point of recommendation in case of intoxication by snake venom, but also by other animal toxins, is contact and consultation of the medical facility with the Toxicology Information Service of the KNP or directly with the KARIM Toxinology Centre of the 1st Faculty of Medicine of the Charles University in Prague for information on the possible development of the condition and appropriate treatment.
