What are the most common indications for the implantation of transvenous cardiac pacing?
1. Asymptomatic bradycardia of less than 40 per min and/or third-degree atrioventricular block with pauses of more than 3 s.
2. Sick sinus syndrome with symptomatic and/or asymptomatic bradycardia of less than 40 per min.
3. Asymptomatic bradycardia of 60 per min in patients aged more than 60.
4. Bradycardia of less than 40 per min in athletes.
