The test is a good tool to create and realize the schemes and principles, which we can follow up when giving first aid and pre-hospital care to ones suffering from hypothermia, exhaustion and also frostbites. Although the situation cannot be set universally for all cases, it describes the situation quite well and with the algorithm chosen for given tasks it is possible to proceed in most cases of this nature. First of all it correctly refers to the high importance of fighting at first for the person’s survival itself and only after that it is possible to proceed with treatment of the individual eventual injuries. Although there could be various classifications of frostbites, recommended by different companies, the classification stated here reflects present trends. The test also leads to stop using of some already deeply rooted mistakes among the public. The overall impression from the test is positive.
